Install Backup TL

Download Backup Teamleader from the official GitHub Releases page. Version v0.1.2, verified when updating this manual, publishes the .zip distribution with the name backuptl-<version>-win-x64-stable.zip; official installation is also available on Microsoft Store.

Quick path

1. Open the published versions of Backup Teamleader.
2. Enter the latest release and expand Assets if the list is collapsed.
3. Download the .zip (backuptl-<version>-win-x64-stable.zip) and extract it to its own folder, or install from Microsoft Store.
4. Check that the filename includes the expected version before opening it.
5. Follow the first backup guide.

.zip from GitHub Releases	To extract and run the manual distribution.	You must keep the included files together and manually update when another version is published.
Microsoft Store	To install with automatic updates on Windows.	Windows manages the installed package and future updates.
