Recording¶
Before recording¶
Configure these options on the home panel:
- Microphone: Select your input device or disable it.
- System sound: Enable or disable system audio capture.
- Custom intro: Enable to include an animated intro with your brand.
- Motion effects: Clicks, cursor trail, particles.
During recording¶
- A system tray icon appears indicating you are recording.
- Alt+R: Stop recording.
- Alt+Z: Toggle manual zoom.
- The timer overlay shows elapsed time.
After recording¶
The Post-Recording dialog appears:
- Preview: Play back the recorded video.
- Background options: Choose from:
- Auto: Background automatically generated from the video's color.
- Preset (HD): Premium predefined backgrounds.
- None: No additional background.
- Keep or discard: Choose whether to keep the recording or discard it.

If you choose to keep it, the video processor opens where you can adjust effects before the final render. See Processing for details.
